As you enter into the new year, what would you like to do/make/have/be more often? How will you bear witness and celebrate the tiny milestones?

I would like to make and create more music next year. I love singing, strumming guitar, and writing songs. I have fallen out of practice quite a bit with the guitar and with song writing, but you know I am going to celebrate the times that I do show up by being fully present to that magical moment. You know the one where you get goosebumps from what you are discovering. I am going to sing my heart out whenever I have the chance even if it is not on any particular schedule. I am learning that I get to simply enjoy my creative pursuits without having to make them into a concrete goal (ie I want to be have my song placed). What is more important to me right now is that I align with my desires and do what I love from a place not of obligation, but of pure unadulterated joy.

That’s great you’re chasing after your dreams. I know people who want to do what they want out of life, but are too afraid to get it done. Keep chasing after your dreams and I hope you strengthen your love for music
